In order to access the scalable fonts on the Tandy DMP-207 printer, the
following procedure was used:

The manual states that the Epson LQ-2500 and Epson LQ-570 drivers will 
allow you to access scalable fonts.  The Epson LQ-570 is the appropriate 
driver to use with this printer.

With this driver selected, you can then select a printer font from within 
your application.  Then manually enter the point size to be used.  The font
might be listed as Courier 20 cpi, which could be interpreted as 20 
characters per inch

However, the font for Courier 20 cpi uses the default font size.  If you 
change the font size to a larger number - as an example, change the font 
size to 32 -, the 20 cpi is no longer valid.  The Epson LQ-570 driver was 
the only driver on the list that displays the correct size of the selected 
font.

For most users, this will not be an issue, as all of Windows True Type 
fonts are 'scalable' fonts.  These fonts would most often be used by 
programmers wanting to send control codes to the printer to change the font
in their application.
