The mouse bundle offered as Cat. No. 250-0346 comes with driver disks for
it to be used.  When using this mouse bundle with a laptop computer system,
some things need to be checked:

    Set the switch on the mouse to MS (not PC)

    Connect the mouse to the serial port.

    Go into the CMOS setup program of the computer, and configure the
    serial ports so COM1 is disabled and COM2 is available.

    Save settings and exit the CMOS setup program

    Copy the TMOUSE.COM file from the diskette supplied with the mouse to
    the C:\ directory.

    Edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, and add the line C:\TMOUSE

    Edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT file to remove any other mouse driver lines.

    Reboot the system.

     Change to the C:\WINDOWS directory

    At the C:\WINDOWS> prompt, run SETUP.

    Change the Windows mouse driver to Logitech, and save this
    configuration.

The mouse will now operate correctly in both Windows and in DOS-based
programs which do not require their own mouse driver.
