                                  Replacement

During installation, take note there is a fuse installed on the OPC unit,
Developer and the Waste Toner Box.  These fuses are used by the printer 
logic to determine that a new unit has been installed.  After the processor
determines that a new unit has been installed, the fuse will be purposely 
blown after about 1 second.  Do not replace these fuses.  Blowing the fuse 
is for new/old unit detection by the processor.  This action also causes 
the processor to reset the electronic life counters. 

If the fuse is not blown, check for proper installation.  There may be a 
problem with the printer itself.  

If the fuse is blown, but the printer is still indicating the drum needs to
be replaced, check the installation of the new drum to be sure it is 
correctly seated and in place.
