Your Modem provides a DTE interface via a 25-pin female (DB-25S) connector
that adheres to the EIA RS-232-C standard.  This connector is located on
the back of the modem and is labeled Serial Port RS-232.

The following table summarizes the RS-232 pin assignment that pertain to
your modem.  Your cable must provide these signals for your DTE to
communicate with your modem.
