There are five procedures that increase the print speed.  Perform Procedure
1 and then send a job to print.  If the print speed is not satisfactory,
perform Procedure 2 and send the job again.  Continue performing procedures
and resending the job until print speed is satisfactory.

Performing these procedures may affect print quality.

Procedure 1

Use this procedure to free memory.

1. Close other applications not in use.

2. Close all other open files within your application.

Procedure 2

Use this procedure to change the printer Addressability to 300 x 300 dpi.

1. From the Printer Control Program, click the Windows Printing Tab.

2. Click the Windows Driver Setup button.

3. Click the Media/Quality Tab to open it.

4. On the Media/Quality Tab, click 300 x 300 dpi setting for
   Addressability.

Procedure 3

Use this procedure to change the Print Quality setting to Draft or Normal.

1. From the Printer Control Program, click the Windows Printing Tab.

2. Click the Media/Quality Tab to open it.

3. On the Media/Quality Tab, click the Draft or Normal setting for Print
   Quality.

Procedure 4

Make sure the Dry Time Delay setting on the Media/Quality Tab is disabled.
