DMP-136 (260-2868) Setting Top of Form Faxback Doc. # 4036 The TOF (top-of-form) feature lets you set the position of the first printing line on a page. You can adjust the TOF (top-of-form) position to suit your needs by adjusting it from 24/72" above the current position to two inches below the current position, in 1/72" increments: NOTE: The default TOF position is approximately one inch from the top edge of the paper to the bottom of a character in the first line. 1. Press ON LINE. The ON LINE indicators light. 2. Press and hold down PARK/LOAD or LF/FF until the PARK/LOAD and LF/FF indicators flash. 3. Repeatedly press PARK/LOAD to shift the TOF downward in 1/72" increments, or repeatedly press LF/FF to shift the TOF upward in 1/72" increments. 4. Press ON LINE to save the new TOF setting. The printer goes back on line. The tractor moves the paper to the TOF position when the printer is about to print a new job or when you turn on the printer. NOTES: * If the paper is at the TOF position when you begin printing, the paper advances to the next tear-off position when printing stops. * The new TOF position is lost when you turn off the printer or when you turn on or reboot your computer while the printer is on line.
