Serial Mouse (250-1040D) Drivers Faxback Doc. # 5331 RUNNING THE MOUSE DRIVERS UNDER MS-DOS If necessary, copy the two mouse drivers from your MS-DOS diskette to your working diskettes or hard disk. The drivers are: MOUSE.COM and MOUSE.SYS MOUSE.COM is the standard driver. To unload it, it must be in your current directory or in a directory in your system's PATH. Simply type: MOUSE (You can include this in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.) MOUSE.SYS is the alternate device driver. It conforms to the DOS standard for installable device drivers. To use MOUSE.SYS, add the following line to your computer's CONFIG.SYS file: Device=C\dir\MOUSE.SYS (dir is directory where your MOUSE.SYS driver is located.) For more information about CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, and PATH, refer to your DOS reference manual. With some versions of MS-DOS, you can adjust your mouse's sensitivity and set other mouse options. Refer to your DOS reference guide for specific information on the mouse driver included with your system. (css/tmc-10/06/95)
