Contrast and Brightness: Adjust the contrast and brightness controls to 
                         suit the room's lighting and your viewing pre-
                         ferences.

Power ON/OFF:            To turn on the VGM-440, press POWER. The POWER
                         indicator lights. Press POWER again to turn off 
                         the monitor.

Horizontal Phase:        Adjusts the horizontal position of the display. 
                         Turn the knob clockwise to move the horizontal 
                         position to the left or turn it counterclockwise 
                         to turn it to the right.

Horizontal Size:         Adjusts the horizontal size of the display.

Side Pincushion:         Adjusts the left and right sides of the display so
                         that these lines are straight (no pincushion).

Vertical Size:           Adjusts the vertical size of the display. Turn the
                         knob clockwise for a smaller display or turn it
                         counterclockwise for a larger display.

Vertical Center:         Adjusts the vertical position of the display. Turn
                         the knob clockwise for a lower display position or
                         turn it counterclockwise for a higher display

CAUTION: If the same characters or graphics are shown for a long time with 
the contrast and brightness controls set to their maximum positions, part 
of the screen may be damaged.
