Bookshelf Speaker

Your new Optimus STS 50 Two-Way Bookshelf Speaker is an example of
superior design and craftsmanship.  The following suggestions will help
you care for it, so you can enjoy it for years.

    Keep the speaker enclosure dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry
    immediately.  Liquids contain minerals that can corrode electronic 
    circuits.

    Keep the speaker away from dust and dirt which can cause premature
    wear of parts.

    Wipe the speaker enclosure occasionally with a cloth dampened with
    furniture polish.  This will help to keep it looking new. Do not use
    harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents.

Caution:  You might permanently damage your speaker enclosure's grille or
          the speaker elements by cleaning them with a vacuum cleaner.
          Instead, use a feather duster or a soft cloth.

Modifying or tampering with the speaker's internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate the warranty.  If the speaker is not
operating as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack store for
assistance.
