You can add the Dome Tweeter to any existing 8-ohm speaker system by
simply connecting it using the cross-over capacitor supplied.  Leaving
this capacitor out might permit low frequencies to damage the voice coil.

You do not need to mount the tweeter in an enclosure or use special
baffling.  You can mount it on top of or on the side of the existing
enclosure.  If you do mount it inside an existing enclosure, mount if from
the outside (or some other method) so the front edge of the tweeter is
flush with the front of the baffle board.  This insures proper sound
dispersion and avoid beaming effects.

NOTE:  With the capacitor supplied, the cross-over frequency is 4000 Hz.
      If you wish to raise the cross-over frequency, use a smaller-value
      capacitor.  A value of 2.2 ohms provides a cross-over of 9000 Hz
      (power handling increases to 50 watts).
