System 727 (130-1274) Memory Tuning Faxback Doc. # 14332 You can store up to 32 AM or FM stations in any combination in memory by assigning the stations to preset numbers. Storing Stations in Memory Note: You can assign one frequency to each preset number. When you assign another frequency to the same preset number, the system erases the first frequency you assigned. 1. Press TUNER/AM-FM to select the desired band (AM or FM). AM or FM appears on the display. 2. TUNE to the station you want to store. 3. Press SET. A preset number flashes on the display. 4. Repeatedly press <<- DOWN or UP ->> until the preset number you want to assign to the station appears. 5. Press SET to store the station in memory. The frequency and the preset number flash for about 2 seconds, then the preset number disappears. Tuning to a Preset Station Press TUNER/AM-FM to select the desired band (AM or FM). AM or FM and a preset number appear on the display. If a preset number is not displayed, press TUNING/PRESET. A preset number appears to the right of AM or FM. Repeatedly press <<- DOWN or UP ->> until the preset number you want appears. Locking and Unlocking Preset Numbers You can prevent the system from tuning to certain stored stations by locking out their assigned preset numbers. Note: You can still tune frequencies assigned to locked-out preset numbers using manual or seek tuning. Follow these steps to lock out preset numbers. 1. If a preset number is displayed, press TUNING/PRESET until it disappears. 2. Press TUNER/AM-FM to select the desired band (AM or FM). AM or FM appears on the display. 3. Press SET. A preset number flashes on the display. 4. Repeatedly press <<- DOWN or UP ->> to select the preset number you want to lock out. 5. Press CLEAR. The FLASH symbol and the preset number flash on the display. 6. Press SET to lock out the preset number. The frequency, FLASH symbol, and the preset number flash for about 2 seconds, then the FLASH symbol and the preset number disappear. 7. Repeat Steps 2-6 to lock out more stations. To unlock a preset number, repeat Step 1-6. The FLASH symbol disappears from the display, and the preset number is restored. (br/all-04/11/95)
