DUAL AUTO REVERSE CASSETTE MECHANISM

An auto reverse system in a cassette deck is not only very appealing but
incredibly convenient.  By playing both sides of a tape, continuously, you
can enjoy your favorite music uninterrupted.

CONTINUOUS PLAYBACK

Allows continuous dubbing of both sides of a tape with continuous play
capability, RECORD & PLAYBACK (TAPE 2) deck continues from PLAYBACK
(TAPE 1) deck, or vice versa.  Further, endless playback using the auto
reverse system is also possible.

HIGH SPEED DUBBING SYSTEM

Enables time saving tape-to-tape recording.  You can dub one tape to
another in about half the normal time.

TAPE SELECTION

Select a tape bias and equalization setting by simply moving the TAPE 
SELECTOR switches to either NORMAL (Low noise/high output), CrO2/high bias
or METAL tape.

FULL AUTO-STOP

Motors, drive components and the tape are all protected by a fully
automatic end-of-tape stop mechanism.  It automatically disengages the
drive mechanism in any mode at the end of the tape unless auto reverse is 
operational.

DUAL-COLOR PEAK LEVEL METERS

The SCT-100 is equipped with quick-response peak level meters to quickly
show program peaks.

Whereas VU meters indicate only the average signal level, these meters
indicate even rapid changes in signal level.

Adjusting the recording level has been made much easier thanks to the use 
of dual-color LED Meters.

DOLBY C-TYPE NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM

A state of the art Dolby C-type noise reduction system assures greater
noise reduction than the conventional Dolby B-type NR system.  It is
best suited for recording programs with wider dynamic range.
