SCP-69 Cassette Player

Follow these steps to play a cassette tape. 

1.  Take up any slack in the tape by turning the cassette's hub with a  
    pencil. 

    CAUTIONS:  If you do not remove the excess slack, the tape might get 
               tangled in the play mechanism. 

               Avoid touching the tape. 

2.  Pull back on the cassette compartment door's latch and pull the door 
    open. 

3.  Insert the cassette tape into the cassette compartment with the side 
    you want to play facing up, the cassette's open edge facing toward  
    the controls, and the full reel on the left. 

4.  Close the cassette compartment door and push in the door's latch until 
    it snaps in place. 

5.  Press PLAY. 

    NOTES:  The cassette player automatically stops when the tape ends. 
 
            To fast-forward the tape, press F.FWD.  The button locks down, 
            and the tape advances quickly.  When you reach the desired 
            section, press STOP then PLAY to resume normal playback. 

6.  Adjust VOLUME to the desired listening level. 

7.  Press down BASS BOOST to the ON position for an enhanced bass sound or 
    to OFF for normal bass sound. 

8.  To stop play, press STOP.
