When this is done, the clock will be lighted up and the minute hand of the clock will start moving. 2. Set the correct time. This can be done by turning the time adjustment Knob 8 located on the back of the cabinet. 3. Operation of the clock switch. The clock switch 6 has four control positions, namely, "AUTO"... "ON"..."OFF:..."ALARM' from lower to upper position in the due order. Operations for respective control positions are as follows: "OFF" position Clock alone operates. "ON" position Radio operates. "AUTO" position The Radio is turned on at the preset time. If audible radio is not required, set the volume control knob 3 in a position for subdued volume. "ALARM position" At the preset time the radio starts. In about 9 minutes the alarm sounds. To silence the alarm, turn the clock switch to the "AUTO" position. When this is done, the radio is kept on. 4. Use of "Snooze lever" 5 Set knob 6 in the "ALARM" position. At the preset time the alarm sounds. If the "Snooze lever" is depressed the alarm stops for about eight minutes. When the pause period is over, the alarm resumes. The operation of the radio continues. 5. Use of "Sleep Timer" 7 If you wish to fall asleep to music, set the select or knob 6 in the "OFF" position and set Knob 7 to the desired switch off time. A maximum of 60 minutes can be optioned. 6. Listening to the Radio. Select the desired frequency band FM/AM by means of the band selector knob 2. Tune the Radio to the desired station by turning the tuning knob 1. Adjust the loudness of the radio set by means of the volume control Knob 3. The loudness increases as the knob is turned clockwise. By using Knob 4, the tone may be controlled to high or low.
