Stereo Audio Selector
(420-2112) Connections Faxback Doc. # 18763

Your Radio Shack Stereo Audio Selector lets you connect as many as three
line-level audio sources to your stereo receiver/amplifier's auxiliary
input.

You can connect a CD player, VCR, cassette tape player, or other audio
source to your receiver/amplifier and select any of these sources for play
without the hassle of unplugging and reconnecting cables.

CONNECTING THE AUDIO SELECTOR

Use shielded audio cable with phono plugs for all connections. Be sure you
connect left and right channels correctly (left to left and right to right)
to maintain proper stereo separation.

1. Connect the output jacks of each of your three audio sources (such as a
CD, stereo VCR, or stereo TV) to your stereo audio selector's AUX 1,
AUX 2, and AUX 3 input jacks.

2. Connect your audio selector's output jacks to the amplifier/receiver's
output jacks to the amplifier/receiver's input jacks (AUX, CD/AUX, or
    TV/AUX).

USING THE AUDIO SELECTOR

CAUTION: To avoid damaging your receiver/amplifier or speakers, set the
audio source's and receiver/amplifier or speakers, set the audio
source's and receiver/amplifier's volume controls to minimum
          before selecting that source.

To select the desired audio source, press the selector button - AUX 1,
AUX 2, or AUX 3 - on your audio selector's front panel that matches the
jack where you connected the audio source.

NOTE: Be sure you select the proper input switch setting (AUX, CD/AUX or
       TV/AUX) on your receiver/amplifier.
