2.5-Inch Dome Tweeters

Your Radio Shack 2.5-Inch Dome Tweeters are specially designed for high 
power and high frequency response with acoustically high efficiency.  You
can add these high-power tweeters to any audio system.

WIRING

Wire your tweeters to your audio system to test the connections, then
temporarily disconnect the tweeters while you mount them.

CAUTIONS:  Be sure all wiring is fully protected from sharp edges or wear.

           Be sure the audio system is off when connecting any wires. 
           Failure to do so might damage the tweeters.

Be sure to leave enough slack in the wires so they can reach the terminals
easily.

Follow these steps to wire the tweeters to your audio system.

1.  Connect the red wire to one of your audio system's positive (+)
    outputs.

2.  Connect the black wire to one of your audio system's negative (-) 
    outputs.

3.  Repeat Steps 1-2 to connect the other tweeter to your audio system's
    other positive and negative output.

NOTE:  Be sure to use wire connectors or wire crimps for wire-to-wire 
       connections.

MOUNTING

Choose mounting locations for the tweeters, then follow these steps to
mount each one.

1.  Use the mounting bracket as a template to mark the locations for the
    mounting holes.

2.  Drill four 3/16-inch (5mm) holes - three for the screws and one for 
    the tweeter wire.

3.  Secure the bracket to the mounting location with the supplied screws
    and compression nuts.

4.  Route the tweeter wire through the center hole in the mounting surface
    and the mounting bracket, align the tweeter's marks with the bracket's
    marks, and snap the tweeter onto the bracket
