USING THE EARPIECE HEADPHONES

1.  Plug the earpiece headphones into the earphones jack located on the
    side of the radio.

2.  Adjust the length of the cord by wrapping it around the cord holder.


PLAYING THE RADIO

The radio controls are easy to operate.  You can operate the controls
when the radio is on your head or on your arm.  However, until you become
acquainted with the performance of the radio, you might want to adjust the
controls before using the radio with the headband.

1.  Slide the OFF/STEREO/MONO switch to MONO or STEREO.

2.  Adjust the TUNING control to tune to your desired FM station.

3.  Place the earpiece in your ears.

4.  Adjust the VOLUME control to a comfortable listening level.

5.  To turn off the radio, slide the OFF/STERO/MONO switch to OFF.

Notes:

        The earpiece headphones cord acts as an antenna.  You might want
        to lengthen the cord to improve reception.  To lengthen the cord,
        unwind it from the cord holder.  Or, if you prefer, remove the
        cord holder altogether.

        To save battery power, remember to turn off the radio when you are
        not listening to it.
