INSTALLING THE BATTERY

Squeeze the latch to unfasten the clip.  Then lift the clip.

Slide off the battery compartment cover by gripping the clip fastener and
sliding the cover toward the outer edge of the radio.  Insert one AAA
battery, observe the correct polarity (+ and -).

We recommend using alkaline batteries such as Radio Shack's Cat. No.
23-555 for longer than standard battery life.  Replace the battery
compartment cover so that it snaps into position.

ATTACHING THE HEADBAND

To attach the headband to the radio, unlatch and lift the clip.  Lay one
side of the headband against the radio and close the clip over it.


ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE CORD HOLDER

The cord holder keeps the excess earpiece headphones cord out of your
way when you are wearing the radio.

To attach the cord holder, slide the bottom portion of the cord holder
into the headband.  Position the cord holder along the headband so that
it is close to the headphone jack of the radio.

Sometimes you might want the cord to be fully extended for better radio
reception.  In this instance, you might want to use the radio without
the cord holder.  Slip the cord holder out of the headband to remove it.

ATTACHING THE ARMBAND

To attach the armband, remove the cord holder.  Thread the armband hook-
and-loop tape through the opening on the clip.  Adjust the length of the
armband so that the radio will lie in a comfortable position on your
arm.  Hold the radio in the desired position against your arm, and secure
it in place.
