Action Radio

Before using the radio, you must install the batteries.  For best results,
we recommend Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552 (alkaline) or 23-582 (heavy duty)
batteries.

Follow these steps to install the batteries.

1.  Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction indicated by
    the arrow and pull up to remove the cover.

2.  Install two AA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols
    (+ and -) marked inside the compartment.

    Cautions:  Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.

               Always remove old or weak batteries. They can leak
               chemicals that can damage electronic circuits.

3.  Replace the cover.

Notes:  If you do not plan to use the radio for a week or more, remove the
        batteries.

        If the radio sound weakens or the power indicator dims, replace
        the batteries.
