INSTALLING/REPLACING BATTERIES

You need two AAA batteries to power the receiver.  For the best
performance and longest battery life, we recommend alkaline batteries,
such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555.  Follow these steps to install or
replace the batteries:

1.  Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow, and
    remove the cover.

2.  Remove the old batteries, if necessary and insert two new batteries,
    observing the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the
    compartment.

3.  Replace the battery compartment cover.

Note:  If the receiver operates erratically and cannot receive strong
       FM stations, replace the batteries.

USING THE BELT-CLIP

To remove the belt-clip, gently pull one side of the clip away from the
receiver's side.  Then, pull the other side of the clip away from the
receiver's other side.

To reattach the belt-clip, snap one of the belt-clip's connectors into the
hole on one side of the receiver.  Then, snap the belt-clip's other
connector into the hole on the other side of the receiver.
