Mini Stereo Amplified Speaker System (400-0168) Operation Faxback Doc. # 32649 NOTES: Be sure the audio source's power is off and its volume control is set to its minimum level. If the audio source is stereo, the speaker with the built-in amplifier is the right speaker. 1. Insert the amplifier's 1/8 inch miniplug into your audio source's headphone jack. 2. Turn on the audio source and adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level. 3. Set BASS to IN for enhanced low-frequency response or to OUT for normal response. 4. Set TREBLE to IN for enhanced high-frequency response or to OUT for normal response. 5. Slide AMPLIFIER to ON to turn on the system's amplifier. The red LED indicator lights. NOTE: The system's volume varies with the audio source's volume level. Use the audio source's volume control to set the volume. 6. To turn off built-in amplifier, slide AMPLIFIER to OFF. 7. To turn off the speaker system, turn off the audio source's power. NOTE: If the audio source's output power does not exceed 500 mW, you can use the speakers with AMPLIFIER set to OFF.
