Your Optimus STS 600 6 1/2-Inch Two-Way Mini Tower Speaker is an example of
superior design and craftsmanship.  The following suggestions will help you
care for your speaker so you can enjoy it for years.

    Handle the speaker gently and carefully.  don't drop it!

    Use and store the speaker only in normal temperature environments.

    To maintain the speaker cabinet's finish, do not let it come in contact
    with water vapor, alcohol, benzene, insecticide, or similar liquids.
    Do not place a plastic covering on top of the speaker, as the plastic's
    color could come off and stick to the finish.

    Clean the speaker cabinet with a soft, dry cloth.

    Never touch the speaker elements with your hands or expose them to
    excessive shocks.  If they become dented or bent, the sound distorts.

    CAUTION:  You might permanently damage your speaker by cleaning it with
              a vacuum cleaner.  Instead, use a feather duster or a soft
              cloth.

Modifying or tampering with the speaker's internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate your speaker's warranty.  If your speaker
is not performing as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack store for
assistance.
