PRO-100 Infrared Headphones (330-1145) Hints and Tips Faxback Doc. # 33749 There are two LEDs on the transmitter--one for Charge indicator and the other for Level indicator The use of the Audio Level Indicator is explained in the operation of the PRO-100 (also in Faxback Doc. # 16038) in the steps below: 1.. Turn on the audio source. 2. Adjust the LEVEL control on the back of the transmitter. A. If you connected the transmitter to jacks that are not controlled by the audio source's volume control, rotate LEVEL all the way to the right. Then slowly adjust the LEVEL to the left until the AUDIO LEVEL indicator just starts to flicker (***this refers to the light on the transmitter***). B. If you connected the transmitter to a headphone jack or to jacks that are controlled by the audio source's volume control, set the system's volume control to about 1/3rd of the maximum and rotate LEVEL all the way to the left. Then slowly adjust LEVEL until the AUDIO LEVEL indicator just starts to flicker. NOTE: Some audio sources might not make the AUDIO LEVEL indicator flicker. For these sources, rotate LEVEL all the way to the left. 3. Rotate VOL on the headset to the minimum position. 4. Set the headphone's ON/OFF switch to ON and rotate TUN until the stereo indocator on the right earcup light. (***Refer to earcup indicator light***). 5. Put on the headphoines. If necessary, slide the earcups up or down to adjust the headband to fit your head. 6. Slowly rotate VOL on the headset to a comfortable listening level. (IR-07/17/96)
