SPEAKER PLACEMENT

Location and positioning affect the performance of your XTS-10 speakers.
The ideal location is on a table or shelf positioned near the corner of a
room.  A decorative shelf attached to a wooden wall (or other acoustically
hard surface) greatly reinforces the sound.

The mounting holes on the back of the speakers let you also mount the
speakers on a wall bracket or stand (available at your local Radio Shack
store).

For the best sound, place the speakers so the distance between them is
about the same as the distance between the listening area and a point
halfway between the speakers.

NOTE:  If possible, place the front edge of the XTS-10 speakers flush with
       the front edge of the shelf.  For the best sound, avoid floor
       locations.  (Floor coverings can absorb sound.)
