If the receiver is not working as it should, the following suggestions
might help you solve the problem.  If you follow the suggestions in this
chart and the receiver still does not work properly, contact you Radio
Shack store where our personnel will assist you.

Problem                             Cause/Remedy

No power.  (The display is off.)    Press POWER.

                                    Be sure the power is plugged in.

                                    Try a different AC outlet.

No Sound.                           Check the sound source connections.

                                    Be sure you have selected the correct
                                    sound source.

                                    Check the speaker connections.

                                    If the headphones are plugged into
                                    PHONES jack, speakers do not work. 
                                    Unplug the headphones if you want to
                                    listen through speakers.
