Improving Reception in Fringe Areas

    For better AM reception, try turning your system in different
    directions.  For better FM reception, fully extend the AC line cord or
    change its direction so the built-in FM antenna provides the best
    reception or connect the FM dipole antenna.

    Tuner sections of receivers pick up interference from other electrical
    device such as fluorescent lights, TV sets, motors, etc.  Keep the
    system away from these sources for the best performance.

    If you hear a humming sound or other interference, try changing the
    position of the system.  Also try plugging the unit into a different
    wall outlet.
