The Optimus In-Dash AM/FM Stereo Cassette Player with Auto-Reverse and
Alarm has many practical, easy-to-use features, and you can install it in
almost any vehicle.  The tuner's digital synthesized circuitry gives you
precise tuning and drift-free reception.

The stereo's anti-theft control panel lets you quickly remove and store it,
making the stereo inoperative.

The auto-reverse cassette deck, memory tuning, seek and scan tuning, and
FM optimizer circuitry all help make you stereo's operation simple and
quick so you can drive safely.

CAUTION:  Use common sense.  Do not change the stereo's settings in heavy
          traffic or during hazardous driving conditions.

This stereo's many useful features include:

                    Alarm Option - lets you set the stereo to sound an
                                   alarm if your vehicle's door is opened.

        Anti-Theft Control Panel - lets you quickly remove and store the
                                   stereo control panel.  This discourages
                                   theft because the stereo cannot operate
                                   without the control panel, yet it still
                                   sounds the alarm if it is set.

         Continuous Auto-Reverse - allows continuous play of both sides of
                                   a cassette tape.

     Locking Fast-Forward/Rewind - lets you quickly move the tape to either
                                   the beginning or the end without holding
                                   down either button.

 Advanced FM Optimizer Circuitry - automatically adjusts the tuner's stereo
                                   separation and high-frequency response
                                   to give you the best possible sound,
                                   regardless of the signal level.

  Lighted LCD Display with Clock - lets you easily see the clock/radio/
                                   cassette deck/alarm function selections.

Bass, Treble, Fader, and Balance - let you adjust high and low sounds and
Control                            the balance between left/right and
                                   front/rear speakers, so you can tailor
                                   the sound to suit your preferences.

              Push Band Selector - lets you easily select AM or FM stations
                                   with the push of a button.


           Metal/CrO(2) Selector - takes advantage of the improved sound
                                   quality in metal or CrO(2) tapes.

         Manual/Automatic Memory - lets you manually or automatically
         Programming               store 12 AM and 18 FM stations into
                                   memory so you can quickly tune to these
                                   stations.

              Memory Scan Tuning - scans all stations stored in memory,
                                   playing for 5 seconds on each station.

                     Seek Tuning - searches forward to the next strong
                                   station in the selected band.

      Automatic Seek Sensitivity - adjusts the stereo so, the first time it
                                   searches a band, it also stops on
                                   weaker, distant stations.

          Display Color Selector - lets you change the display's color to
                                   amber or green.

Built-in Noise-Suppression Choke - reduces the noise caused by your
                                   vehicle's electrical system.
