CAUTION:  Carefully read the following instructions.  If you are unsure  
          about the installation process after you read this manual, we
          urge you to have an automotive audio specialist install the
          equalizer.  Improper connections could damage the equalizer
          and/or other components in your auto-sound system.

CHOOSING A MOUNTING LOCATION

Choose a mounting location that:

    Is a close as possible to your vehicle's radio, cassette player, or  
    other main auto-sound component.  

    Does not interfere with the operation of the vehicle.  

    Is not directly in front of a heating vent.  

    Allows for drilling mounting holes without damaging other vehicle  
    components.  

    Allows enough leg room for passengers.  

    Allows convenient and safe routing of wires.  

After you choose a mounting location, connect the equalizer, routing the  
wires according to the selected location.  Before you mount the equalizer,  
test it to confirm that it works properly.  This way, when you are ready  
to mount the equalizer, you will not have to reroute the wires.
