Car Stereo Frequency Equalizer (120-1962) Operation Faxback Doc. # 17952 TURNING ON THE EQUALIZER Depending on the power connection, your equalizer turns on when you turn on the radio/cassette player or the ignition. The lighted slide controls show you when the equalizer's power is on. USING THE EQUALIZER'S SLIDE CONTROLS Be sure you set the radio/cassette player's treble and bass controls to the center position. Adjust the seven slide controls for the desired sound. The center slide position provides a "flat" response for that frequency range. Press in the [EQ/DEFEAT] button to provide a "flat" response for all seven bands. USING THE FADER CONTROL Use the FADER control to adjust the balance between front and rear speakers. Move the control up to increase the sound level of the front speakers. Move the control down to increase the sound level of the rear speakers. USING THE RADIO/CD BUTTON Press the RADIO/CD button to the in position select the radio/cassette player as the program source. Press the button to the out position to select a CD player as the program source. USING THE SUBWOOFER 60/100Hz BUTTON Use the SUBWOOFER [60/100Hz] button to select the desired low-pass frequency for subwoofer outputs. (CS/all-11/21/95)
