Your Optimus High Power AM/FM Stereo Car Cassette Player has many
practical, easy-to-use features, and you can install it in almost any
vehicle.  The tuner's digital synthesized PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) circuitry
gives you precise tuning and drift-free reception.

Digital balance, bass, treble, fader, and volume controls let you adjust
the sound for maximum listening pleasure.

Your stereo contains many features that let you operate it easily so you
can drive safely.  The auto-reverse cassette deck, memory and seek tuning,
and the FM optimizer circuitry all help make your stereo's operation nearly
hands-free.

CAUTION:  Use common sense.  Do not change your stereo's operation in heavy
          traffic or during hazardous driving conditions.

Its many useful features include:

        Detachable Front Panel - lets you remove the stereo's controls for
                                 security.  You can carry the front panel
                                 safely inside the provided carrying case
                                 for protection against dust and scratches.

Lighted LCD Display with Clock - lets you easily see the clock/radio/
                                 cassette deck function selections.

       Dual Color Illumination - allows you to select green or amber
                                 lighting for the stereo's display and
                                 front panel.

         Advanced FM Optimizer - automatically adjusts the tuner's stereo
         Circuitry               separation and high-frequency response to
                                 give you the best possible sound, 
                                 regardless of the signal level.

                    High Power - provides 28 watts of total power to give
                                 you excellent audio response for all types
                                 of music.

           Stereo/Mono Control - lets you select FM reception in stereo on
                                 strong stations or monaural on weak
                                 stations.

                    Audio Mute - lets you reduce the audio system's output
                                 to a minimal level with the touch of a
                                 button.

            Push Band Selector - lets you easily select AM or FM bands with
                                 the touch of a button.

              Loudness Control - lets you boost your stereo's high and low
                                 frequencies for better sound at low volume

       Manual/Automatic Memory - lets you manually store or set the stereo
       Programming               to automatically store 12 AM and 18 FM
                                 stations into memory, so you can quickly
                                 tune to the stations with the touch of a

         Automatic Memory Scan - scans all stations stored in memory,
                                 stopping for several seconds on each
                                 station.

                   Seek Tuning - searches forward to the next strong
                                 station in the selected band.

    Automatic Seek Sensitivity - adjusts your stereo so the first time it
                                 searches a band it stops only on strong
                                 local stations.  If it does not find any
                                 strong stations the first time, then it
                                 searches again and stops on weaker,
                                 distant stations.

    Built-In Noise-Suppression - reduces the noise caused by your
    Choke                        vehicle's electrical system.
