FM Stereo Car Radio (120-1370) Installation Faxback Doc. # 3788 Hints: Use only with 12 volt negative ground electrical systems. Use only 2 amp fuse in the fuse holder. Do not turn set on until antenna and speaker wires are attached. If radio does not operate, check to see if ground and (+) power lead are firmly connected. Check fuse and replace if necessary. Refer repairs to qualified service personnel. Pick an attractive underdash position, taking special care that it is convenient to the driver's seat. Avoid areas with wiring or other mounting obstacles. Using the mounting brackets as a guide, drill a hole on one side of the desired location. If the metal is too thick to accommodate the hexagonal bolts, use the self-tapping screws. Mount the unit to the brackets using the pan head screws. Drill the second mounting hole. Straighten the unit before tightening the bolts or self-tapping screws. For additional strength, use the mounting strap and hardware to attach the radio to the firewall. If the radio seems secure, you may omit this step. (br/all-12/27/94)
