TURNING UNIT ON - Turn OFF/VOLUME control clockwise until you hear a
                  click.  Turning the control further clockwise increases
                  the volume.

   TUNING RADIO - Use TUNING knob to find proper station.  Tune for
                  strongest signal, and, on a stereo station, lighted
                  STEREO beacon.  After the station is tuned, built-in
                  Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) prevents drift.

    STEREO/MONO - The green STEREO beacon lights to indicate a stereo
                  broadcast.  To listen to stereo, be sure the MONO switch
                  is out.  On noisy stereo stations and those broadcasting
                  in mono, press the MONO button in for best sound.

 TONE & BALANCE - Adjust TONE and BALANCE for the most pleasant sound.
