A problem exists with the TDACWAVE.DRV in Windows on the 2500SX33 using the
IBM or PS/2 mouse.drv driver in Windows.  To resolve this issue the Factory
will be changing the default Windows mouse to the Logitech mouse driver
lmouse.drv.

The error will occur some of the times when the actual mouse is moved while
Windows is loading.  The error that comes up is the following:

Tandy DAC
A configuration or hardware problem has occurred.
Insure the [tdacwave.drv] setting in SYSTEM.INI 
configure the DAC Sound driver Correctly.

Note: This error may also occur when a Sound Blaster Board is installed.
      See the "Sound Blaster Board" section below.

When you receive this message there will not be any Sound & the Mouse will
not work within Windows.

The fix to this problem is to use the LOGITECH mouse driver.  This driver
does not conflict with the Tandy DAC Wave driver.

To change the mouse driver being loaded in Windows do the following steps.

1.  From the DOS prompt (c:\) type:  cd \windows and press <ENTER>

2.  Type  setup and press <ENTER>

3.  In the setup screen, move your cursor and highlight MS or IBM PS/2 and
    press <ENTER>.

4.  Highlight the Logitech mouse driver option and press <ENTER>

5.  Answer the question "Accept the configuration shown above" by pressing
    <ENTER>

6.  Windows setup will ask you to insert Windows 3.1 Disk #2.  Once you 
    have placed the disk in drive A press <ENTER>.  This will copy the
    lmouse.drv and lmouse.com to your Windows directory and return you to 
    the DOS prompt.

When you go back into Windows the system will use the logitech mouse 
driver.  Any DOS applications will continue to use the MS or IBM PS/2 
driver.

If a Sound Blaster Board and its drivers have been added to the machine, 
the Tandy DAC error may also occur. Remove the Tandy DAC Driver from within
Windows to correct the conflict.

To remove the TDACWAVE.DRV from Windows, open the Control Panel, double
click on Drivers, then highlight the Tandy DAC Driver and click on Remove.
Exit and Restart Windows, there should be no error message.
