To install the FlexDesk Control Panel:

1.  If Windows does not load automatically when you start the computer,
    type the following at the DOS prompt:

    win <ENTER>

2.  Insert the Video Drivers disk in drive A:.  Select Run from the File
    menu.  Type the following:

    a:/flexdesk/setup <ENTER>

To use FlexDesk Control Panel:

1.  In Windows, double-click on the FlexDesk Control Panel found in the
    Program Manager window.

2.  Choose a new screen resolution by clicking on one of the options listed
    under the word SCREEN.  Choose a higher number to increase the display
    resolution of Microsoft Windows - doing so displays more test and
    graphics on the screen but the size of each item is decreased.  Choose
    a lower number to decrease the display resolution of Microsoft Windows
    - doing so displays less text and graphics on the screen but the size
    of each item is increased.

3.  Choose a new number of colors by clicking on one of the options listed
    under COLORS.  The number of colors available depends on the screen
    resolution and on how much video memory is installed.  For example, at
    1280x1024 screen resolution, the number of colors available is 16.  At
    640x480 screen resolution, the number of colors available ranges from
    16 to 256.  With 1MB of video memory, the number of colors at the
    640x480 screen resolution ranges from 16 to over 16 million.

4.  Click the Help button in the FlexDesk Control Panel for more
    information on available video configuration options, or click OK to
    accept the changes you have made to the video display.  To cancel the
    changes you have made, click CANCEL.  Either way, you exit the FlexDesk
    Control Panel.
