There are special key combinations, using the keys labeled in blue, that
can help you save power as you use your computer.  These key combinations
override the Setup and Power program parameters.

FN+F1 (Reverse)    Use this key combination to change the screen's shading
                   for a clearer view in some applications.

FN+F3 (Speed)      Use this key combination to select the computer's speed
                   (12MHz or 6MHz).  The POWER indicator lights orange
                   when you select 6MHz.

FN+F4 (Disk)       Use this key combination to make the hard disk
                   controller turn off until accessed.  No special
                   keystrokes or commands are needed to turn on the disk
                   controller again.

FN+F5 (Spkr)       Use this key combination to enable or disable the
                   speaker.

FN+F7 (Display)    Use the key combination to turn off the backlight and
                   the LCD.  Any keyboard entry you make turns the
                   backlight and LCD back on.

FN+F8 (Serial)     Use this key combination to enable or disable the serial
                   port.  The serial port is turned on until you press the
                   key combination.
