Legend 100CD (250-0407) Sound 16A Utilities Faxback Doc. # 15011 From MS-DOS HWSET.EXE - Allows user to change hardware settings of the sound card. DIAGNOSE.EXE - Performs various sound tests on the sound card. CDPLAY.EXE - Allows user to play audio CDs. MIXTSR.EXE - A memory resident program that is the MS-DOS based mixer utility for the Sound 16A card. Allows volume, and balance adjustments for Wave, CD, MIC and other audio sources. To remove the MIXTSR.EXE file from memory, type: MIXTSR /Q EASYSTART.EXE - This file brings up a menu of options including the Diagnose, Config, Mixtsr, and CdPlay utilities. CONFIG.EXE - This utility allows you to alter the configuration of your sound card. All the files listed above are located in the C:\SOUND16A\UTILITY directory of the harddrive. From Windows From the SOUND16A Group, select the MIXER CONTROL icon and make adjustments to volume, balance, etc. from this area.
