Choppy Sound with Encarta (250-1650)

When playing some of the videos included with Encarta '94, the sound is 
choppy.  A way to resolve this is to use the following procedure:

    Edit the CONFIG.SYS file as follows:
        device=c:\windows\emm386.exe noems i=c800-f6ff
        device=c:\bin\lmsdd250.sys /d:mscd001 /p:340 /i:11 /c:99 /m:24 /s

    Go into Control Panel and highlight Drivers

    In Drivers, select [MCI] Microsoft AVI Video

    Click on SETUP

    Place an "X" in the box for 'Skip video frame if behind'

    Re-install Encarta, and select fast
