" Then the graphics come up. After that, Windows 3.11 loads. The initial option screen opens with: 1. Home 2. Office 3. School 4. Store With option 4.Store: Warning comes up: Warning: This option is for retailer use only. This option configures the computer to play the Aptiva retail demonstration. Once started, this computer will play the demonstration continuously. Retailers: In order to prepare this machine for sale, you will need the Aptiva Exploration CD. To start the demo, click on Continue or press the Enter key. To exit, click on Cancel or press the Esc Key. Once you click on Continue, the system loads a batch file and expands several files. You are then prompted for a password. You key it in two times to be sure you have it correct. Then a dialog box comes up to say "Your new password has been integrated into the application". System creates the Aptiva Presentation group and Demo icon. It then runs the demo. If you wish to exit the demo, you would use at the DEMO Menu option. The prompt for the password created earlier comes up. Key in the password. Once you press , a new menu dialog comes up. The menu options are: *Return to the presentation *Change the password *Prepare the machine for sale *Help *Exit to Windows Click on the "Exit to Windows". The system will go back to Program Manager. As a note, when you select "Exit to Windows", and the Aptiva Presentation group is open, if the system is left for more than 1.5 minutes, the demo restarts.
