Aptiva Communications Center places a communications center, with a
telephone, speaker-phone, answering machine, fax machine and address book,
on your computer.

The Aptiva Telephone and Message Center provides you with the familiar
features of a conventional speaker phone and answering machine, along with
special Aptiva Communications Center features like fax vs. voice call
discrimination, and the ability to use a Speed Dial list that can contain
as many telephone numbers as you want.

The Aptiva Fax Center helps you coordinate all fax-related activities, from
creating the documents you intend to send, to managing fax transmission and
providing detailed logs of fax activity.

The Aptiva Address Book is a "pocket" organizer for your computer.  It
provides entry space for storing home and business addresses, voice and fax
numbers, along with brief notes, for an unlimited number of contacts.
Direct links from the Address Book to both the Aptiva Telephone and Fax
Center allow you to dial telephone and fax numbers just by clicking on them
in the Address Book.

A Modem Communications link allows you to start your favorite Windows 3.1
modern communications application from within the Aptiva Communications
Center.

Mouse and Keyboard Support

Aptiva Communications Center supports the use of either a mouse or your
computer's keyboard.  The step-by-step instructions in the Aptiva
Communications Center guide and on-line help describe e mouse actions.
Keystrokes are described in Appendix A of the Aptiva Communications Center
guide.
