BATTERY USAGE

The Deluxe Nickel-Cadmium Battery Charger has six charging chambers and
three 9-volt charging terminals.

    The four large chambers charge 2, 4, 6 or 8 batteries (two of the same
    size to each chamber) of sizes AA, C and D.  Do not attempt to charge
    only one battery or two different sizes of batteries in the large
    chambers.

    The two small chambers can each charge single AA, C and D batteries.
    You can charge either two different sizes or the same size of
    nickel-cadmium batteries.

    The three 9-volt battery terminals are located between the large
    chambers.  You can charge 1, 2 or 3 of your 9-volt batteries at once;
    however, do not use the large chamber for charging C or D batteries at
    the same time the 9-volt terminal is in operation.

THE TRI-COLOR LEDS

    The LEDs on the left side of the unit glow in various colors when
    different types of batteries are charged.

    When charging AA, C or D batteries, the LEDs glow red.

    When charging 9-volt batteries only, the LEDs glow green.

    When charging both AA and 9-volt batteries at the same time, the
    LEDs glow yellow.

    The LEDs on the right side of the unit glow red only when charging
    AA, C or D batteries.

DANGER:  Keep battery charger out of children's reach when it is plugged
         in.

         Do not attempt to charge a single battery in the large chambers
         by connecting the battery terminal to the charge terminal with a
         piece of metal.  Use the small chambers designed for single
         batteries.

         Do not use your battery charger as a substitute for batteries
         (DC power source) for appliances or electrical equipment.

         Use only nickel-cadmium batteries in your charger; if you try to
         charge other types of batteries, they will burst.  Do not use two
         different battery sizes in the same chamber.

         Do not alter the AC cord or plug provided.  Improper connection
         or repair can cause an electric shock.
