If you suspect that your transceiver is not working as it should, refer to
the following chart to see if you ca eliminate the problem.

If the problem persists, take the transceiver to your local Radio Shack
store.  Do not attempt to make repairs or adjustments yourself.

          except changing or installing new crystals.  Any other internal
          adjustments can lead to illegal operation as defined by FCC Rules
          and Regulations, Part 90.  Such illegal operation can lead to
          fines or confiscation of equipment.

         transceiver if you use other manufacturer's crystals.  We urge you
         to use only crystals obtained through your local Radio Shack
         store.
