If your walkie-talkie is not working as it should, follow these suggestions
to see if you can eliminate the problem.  If you cannot, take the walkie-
talkie to your local Radio Shack store for assistance.

SYMPTOM                            SUGGESTION

Trouble with reception            Be sure the walkie-talkie is turned on.

                                  Be sure OFF/VOLUME is turned up.

                                  Be sure you are not pressing the push-
                                  to-talk button.

                                  Be sure SQUELCH  is adjusted properly.

                                  Be sure the antenna cable (if used) is
                                  securely connected to both the antenna
                                  and the walkie-talkie.

Trouble with transmission         Clean and tighten all connectors.

                                  Be sure you are fully pressing the
                                  push-to-talk button.

                                  Be sure the antenna cable (if used) is
                                  securely connected to both the antenna
                                  and the walkie-talkie.

Walkie-talkie does not work       Be sure the fuse in the DC cigarette
when connected to DC cigarette    lighter power cable's plug is not blown.
