Flashlight (610-2546) Operation Faxback Doc. # 32796 INSTRUCTIONS How to Use: Move ON/OFF all the way forward to ON. To turn the flashlight OFF, return the switch to MID. Charging Tips: Charge your flashlight for 48 hours in a standard 120VAC outlet before using it for the first time. To do this, slide ON/OFF back as far as it will go, exposing the plug-in prongs and swinging them out 90 degrees. Plug the prongs directly into any standard 120VAC household outlet that cannot be turned off by a wall switch. Unplug the flashlight after you charge it and store it in a convenient location. The flashlight holds a usable charge for up to one year at room temperature. DC Charging: The adapter consists of a mounting bracket that the flashlight plugs into, a plug that fits a standard automotive cigarette lighter receptacle, a 4-foot cord, and a flexible strap to keep the flashlight in the bracket. For best results, install the mounting bracket on a flat surface where it can be easily reached in an emergency. Plug the flashlight into the mounting bracket, put the flexible strap across the bracket to hold the flashlight in place, and plug the adapter all the way into the cigarette lighter to ensure proper charging. To use the flashlight, remove the strap and pull the flashlight straight out of the bracket. Cut the cigarette lighter plug from the line cord and use an appropriate wire termination to wire directly to your car's electrical system. Connect the striped wire to a positive terminal (unswitched accessory such as the radio fuse) and the plain wire to ground. This enables direct wire charging. (YO/EB 5/6/96)
