Flashlight (610-2546) Cautions Faxback Doc. # 32797 CAUTION: The battery cell inside your flashlight is permanently sealed and should not leak. Under no circumstances should you break, crush, or burn the battery. It contains poisonous sulfuric acid, which can cause skin burns, eye damage, and property damage on contact. Information About Your Rechargeable Flashlight: When fully charged, the flashlight can operate approximately 1 1/2 hours before requiring a recharge. We suggest you recharge your flashlight after every use. Unplug your flashlight from the wall outlet (or the 12V cigarette lighter receptacle) before replacing the bulb or cleaning. Do not immerse the flashlight in water; it is not watertight. Do not attempt to repair the flashlight yourself. Do not charge at a temperature below 40 degrees F or above 140 degrees F Do not plug this flashlight into a switch that is attached to a dimmer; it could damage the unit. Do not leave the flashlight plugged in. This may cause damage to the flashlight. Keep flashlight straight when inserting or removing from an outlet. Dash mounting is not recommended because the temperature on the dash may exceed 200 degrees F. NOTE: Batteries discharge more rapidly at high temperatures. When you mount the bracket horizontally, use the strap to hold the flashlight securely so it cannot drop to the floor, damaging the flashlight or causing injury. The flexible strap easily snaps into place over the tabs on the bracket's sides. Never use an outdoor AC outlet to recharge the flashlight: recharge from indoor AC only. Do not plug your flashlight into an outlet (or the cigarette lighter receptacle) when wet. Never leave your flashlight turned ON when the battery is discharged. This could permanently damage the flashlight. A dim bulb indicates that you need to recharge the battery. (YO/EB 5-6-96)
