This dummy load is a substitute for an antenna and a current
absorbing body with an impedance of 50 Ohms.  As this device absorbs
a high frequency current completely, it can supply actual current to
high frequency equipment without emitting a spurious current.

When used with a SWR and power meter, dummy load is ideal for works
on radio equipment -- such as measurement of transceiver's output
power, tune-up or transceiver and liner amplifier, check of coaxial
cable and connectors, and measurement of the equipment that is
connected between a transceiver and an antenna.
