Push POWER down to turn off the amplifier. Controlling the Sound Rotate TREBLE clockwise to boost, or counterclockwise to cut the frequencies in the high frequency range (around 5 kHz). (Boosting the treble gives your sound a stinging, cutting high end.) Rotate BASS clockwise to boost, or counterclockwise to cut the frequencies in the low bass range (around 80 Hz). (Boosting the bass gives you a warmer tone). Rotate MID clockwise to boost, or counterclockwise to cut the midrange frequencies (around 800 Hz). (Boosting the midrange gives you a fatter, harmonic-rich sound.) Rotate VOLUME clockwise to increase the Volume, or counterclockwise to decrease it. Rotate DISTORTION to obtain the desired amount of distortion. Here are examples of how to use the control settings for different sounds.
