INSTALLING BATTERIES Your game requires two C batteries (not supplied) for power. For the longest life, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-551. CAUTION: Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. 1. To remove the battery compartment cover, press down the tab on the cover and pull it away from the compartment. 2. Insert the batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the compartment. The game turns on, and P1, GAME OVER, 100 (points), and an example poker hand (A, K, Q, J, 10) appear on the display. 3. Replace the cover. NOTES: If you won't be using the game for a week or more, remove the batteries. If the game stops working properly, reset it by removing then reinserting the batteries. If the game still does not work after you reset it, or if the display dims or the sound weakens, replace both batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
