Quick Touch Learning Game (600-2489) Batteries Faxback Doc. # 32249 FOR PARENTS INSTALLING BATTERIES The Quick Touch requires four AA batteries (not supplied) for power. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552 or 23-557. 1. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover. NOTE: You cannot remove the screw. 2. Use a screwdriver or small coin (as shown on the compartment) to pry open the battery compartment cover. 3. Put the batteries into the compartment. Match the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside the compartment with the same symbols marked on the batteries. 4. Close the cover and use a screwdriver to tighten the screw. NOTES: If you won't be using the game for a week or more, remove the batteries. If the game's display dims, replace all four batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. CAUTION: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn batteries. If the Quick Touch does not work properly after installing or replacing the batteries, press ACL (all clear) with a pointed object, such as a straightened paper clip, to reset the game. The Quick Touch turns on, all display characters appear, and it says "Hello, welcome to the game." (EB 4/24/96) (BR 4/8/96)
