SETTING THE CLOCK

To set the time, do the following.

1.  Press CLOCK.

2.  Press and hold down START MEMORY/STOP to select a.m./p.m. or military
    format.  (To determine the format, set the time to a p.m. hour.  In
    a.m./p.m. format, P appears for a p.m. hour.)

3.  Press and hold down CLOCK until the display flashes.

4.  Set the time by repeatedly pressing or pressing and holding down the
    appropriate button(s) as follows:

    H - to change the hour

    M - to change the minute

    S - to set the seconds to 00.

    NOTE:  If the seconds are past 30 when you press S, the display
           advances by one minute.

5.  Press CLOCK.  The clock/timer beeps and the display stops flashing.

MOUNTING THE CLOCK

USING THE STAND

Open the clip and with a pencil tip, pull the small metal stand until it
fits onto the clip.  Set the clock/timer on a table or desk.

USING THE MAGNET

Place the clock/timer's magnet on a metal surface such as a refrigerator or
filing cabinet.

USING THE CLIP

Open and release the clip to attach the clock/timer to a clipboard or your
shirt pocket.

USING THE TIMERS

Each timer can count up or count down time.

To view the clock anytime while timing an event, press CLOCK.  The clock's
time appears with T1, or T2, or both flashing.  This shows that the
corresponding timer is timing.

To view a timer, press TIMER 1 or TIMER 2.  The selected timer's indicator
lights steadily.

COUNTING UP

Follow these steps to count up.

1.  Press TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 to select a timer.

2.  Press CLEAR to reset the timer to 0:00: 00.

3.  Press START MEMORY STOP to start the timer.

4.  When the event ends, press START MEMORY/STOP.  The elapsed time
    appears.

If you do not stop the timer, it continues timing until the display shows
99:59 59.

To resume timing from the displayed time, press START MEMORY/STOP again.

To reset the timer to 0:00 00, press CLEAR.

COUNTING DOWN

Follow these steps to count down.

1.  Press TIMER 1 or TIMER 2.

2.  Set the count down time by repeatedly pressing or pressing and holding
    down the appropriate buttons, as follows:

        H - to set the hour digits.

        M - to set the minute digits.

        S - to set the second digits.

    NOTE:  If you need to make a correction, press CLEAR to return to
           0:00 00.  Then, set the correct time.

3.  Press START MEMORY/STOP.  The timer starts counting down in 1-second
    increments.

When 0:00 00 appears, the alarm sounds for 1 minute.

If you do not press a button when the timer reaches 0:00 00, the timer
starts counting up in 1-second intervals to show you how much time has
passed since the alarm started sounding.  If you do not stop the timer,
it continues counting up until 99:59 59 appears.

To silence the alarm, and to stop the timer, press START MEMORY/STOP.

To reset the timer to 0:00 00, press CLEAR after the timer has stopped.

To use the same count down time, press START MEMORY/STOP while the timer
is stopped.  The timer-alarm's time appears.  Press START MEMORY/STOP
again.  The timer starts counting down again.  (You cannot use this
feature if you pressed CLEAR after the timer was stopped.)
