Volt Sensor

When the Volt Sensor is positioned near a wire (outlet terminal, switch
power, and any electrical unit under power) there is a capacitance between
the wire and the Volt Sensor.  It is designed to detect live voltage for
50/60 Hz in the range of 70 to 440 VAC.

MODE OF OPERATION

Place the Volt Sensor near the wire or appliance.  While testing, press
the button on the upper side of the Volt Sensor.  The LED will light up if
the wire or the appliance is powered.  You can follow the presence of the
voltage by following the wire up to the end.  Two batteries are used.  To
change batteries, slide the top cover of the Volt Sensor and change them.
